As we work more with Smart Access technologies it is clear that there is a need for additional utilities and products to enable organisations to get the most from their AAC investment.

One key area is being able to report on the AAC Audit Event Logs. The Event logs are very complex, and are not immediately intelligible to all but the most ardent xml fan. The Event Log Consolidator included within AAC goes some way towards achieving this, but when put under scrutiny it is clear it is a utility to assist debugging rather than an enterprise reporting tool.

So Project Clearview was born. It's role is simple, it collects the Citrix AGE audit event logs, sorts and arranges the data into SQL and then enables reports to be prepared as and when needed.
