Hi,

we are using AAC 4.2. When I enable the E-Mail Sync resource, several ports are opened from the client to the E-Mail server. Unfortunatly Outlook 2003 is not able to sync with these ports. It frequently tries to open additional ports, fails and refuses to sync.

Do I need to restrict the ports Outlook will use for synchronization somehow? Did I miss any prerequisites?

Thanks and kind regards,

 JP

I belive you would have to configure the Excange server to use static MAPI ports (instead of the default dynamic MAPI ports).

Take a look at:
