For those that are interested in this kind of thing, I discovered you can launch the AAC login page from a script by calling
net6vpn.exe -B
I appreciate you could also call iexplore whith the url of your CAG but this then pre supposes that your clients have Internet Explorer . NB This is not documented so is likely to be "Not Supported" so use at your own risk, test thoroughly before use etc...
